Brats
Items Needed:
-Brats
-Smokin Brothers Adam’s Apple Barbeque Sauce
-Foil Pan with Lid
-Foil
Steps to Take:
1 – Set Grill at 225 degrees.
2 – Take each individual brat and squeeze it to mix up the pork and sausage mixture inside the casing.
3 – Using a fork, poke several holes on each side of the brats. This allows the grease to cook out of the brat and keeps the skin of the brat moist.
4 – Place the brats directly on the grill leaving a small space between each brat to allow the air flow to circulate around the brats.
5 – Grill the brats at 225 degrees for 40 minutes.
6 – After 40 minutes, coat the bottom of a foil pan with Adam’s Apple Bar-b-que Sauce. Place the brats in the foil pan and pour a small amount of Adam’s Apple Bar-b-que Sauce over the brats.
7 – Seal the foil pan with a foil lid or a piece of foil.
8 – Set the pan inside of the grill.
If grill marks are desired on the brats, place the brats covered in Adam’s Apple Bar-b-que Sauce directly on the grill without the foil pan.
9 – Increase the grill temperature to 325 degrees and grill for 15 minutes.
The AUG button on the grill can be pressed to accelerate the heat. The ACC lite will be flashing. Once the temperature gets close to the desired 325 degrees, press the AUG button to turn off the accelerated heat feature.
10 – After 15 minutes, remove the brats from the grill. Internal temperature should be 170 degrees.
